In the world of fitness, the fusion of Pilates and Strength Training creates significant benefits. The combination of functional fitness, core strength, and flexibility with Pilates provides a well-rounded baseline for the power needed for strength training. In the midst of the pandemic in 2020, during moments of uncertainty and personal health challenges, I turned to movement as a grounding force. For me, immersing myself into weight training provided a sense of routine and control that I needed at the time. Combining this with Pilates added an extra layer of body awareness, mindfulness, and mental well-being during transformative times.
